The Thermal Baths of Merano are the new wellness oasis of the region. The puristic design architecture of the Thermal Baths meets the long tradition of Merano as a spa town and puts a new spin on it. Beside the 15 all-year open indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the further 10 outdoor swimming pools which are open from the 15th of May to the 15th of September, the Thermal Baths offer a varied sauna area with biosauna, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, snow room and caldarium. You can really treat yourself on the 1400 m2 big spa area with all sorts of treatments, from massages to packages and wellness baths!

The Gardens of Trauttsmansdorff Castle cover an area of 12 hectare in the form of a natural amphitheater with an altitude difference of 100 meters providing a spectacular view over Merano and the surrounding mountains.
In over 80 garden landscapes colorful plants from all around the world thrive and bloom. From the tulip blossoming in spring to the intense autumn colours, the Gardens are a visit worth in every single season. Experience stations, themed gardens, artist pavilions and guided tours turn the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle into a colorful world where visitors enjoy a variety of different experiences. A wide offer of musical or culinary events such us the Garden’s Nights or Breakfast at Sissi’s on Sunday make the Garden an experience for all senses.
